Had a random BSoD, not sure what the cause, ntoskrnl.exe+7cc40, dmp in

    Had a random BSoD, not sure what the cause, ntoskrnl.exe+7cc40, dmp in


    So I do have a OC, but it was stable (Intel Burn Test, Prime95). I was playing the Binding of Isaac (flash game on steam). What is most likely the cause here?

    Oh I should note my PC first froze (but my mouse could still move) for a while, before the blue screen came.

    Could flash have caused this? I did get a Flash update today.

    Malware

    - Your dump crashed a process which could be Malware. In that case, it should be fairly easy to get rid of it. Before digging in to this let's start off by a regular scan.

    Do a scan with Malwarebytes.

    Antivirus

    What kind of antivirus do you have?

    Bugcheck

    I did a quick scan, nothing found. I use Microsoft Security Essentials.

    You should do a fullscan with Malwarebytes.
