I cannot pinpoint the source of my BSODs
Edit: I'm updating my original post with tests I have already done and stuff that has happened. Here is the list.
I have had lots of more blue screens, It seems they have become more frequent....
I driver swept my display driver and installed a fresh up to date install
I ran memtest for 5 passes (10 hours) and it had 0 errors.
I have done a disk check
I have done a system file check
I updated my attachment because of the new BSODS and crash dumps.
Windbg has recently pointed to the problem being caused by NTFS.sys (according my windbg). It pointed to this right after I had a blue screen saying "NTFS.sys" and "Page fault in non page area"
And just in case you don't want to read all the posts, I have had several different types of blue screens, including irql not less or equal, memory management, and others.
I ran driver verifier, and it bsod me more frequently with it turned on, a notable bsod i had with it turned on which I did not have with it turned off was one with "portcls.sys"
This is my original post
My computer is about 2 years old. Windows 7 64bit. I attached a zip of the crashdumps and the other stuff (followed the bsod posting tutorial sticky).
For a while I had BSOD issues. I had determined that it was the ram from previous advice. Sometimes i would have BSODs constantly and they were unavoidable, making it impossible to use the computer. Something that I think was odd, is the only way i was able to use my computer was to swap the ram sticks. This always seemed to fix the BSOD issue, until the next day, when i had to swap them again to use the computer without it BSODing.
I got new ram sticks a week ago, and i put them into the computer. My BSODS seemed to go away, but, they did not. But it helped my computer ALOT. I dont get BSODs constantly anymore, and i dont have to switch the ram sticks for a temporary fix. I have not had the new memory sticks for long, but it seems like I only get 1 bsod a day, and then the rest of the day i dont have anymore. And I think all the bsods that ive had sense i put in the ram chip were IRQL not less or equal, but im not sure.
What can the the problem? any help would be much appreciated!
