    A bunch of problems

    1. Randomly my Keyboard and Mouse will stop working (the orange lights on both flicker, but the use of them are unresponsive)

    2. Glitches in the system (no spikes in CPU or Memory usage)
    a. sound (distorted sound)
    b. video (linked to sound - pauses of varying length)

    I am running Kaspersky AV.

Funnily enough, my computer did that earlier too, I removed everyone except a Web Browser and installed Malearebytes, which removed 2 viruses, and cleaned the system, really helped, the mouse was buggy too.

Keep Kaspersky, just disable and turn it off whilst MBAM is running.

    Did you remove them then?

Also please update to IE9 if you haven't already and use a better Browser like Chrome, Opera or Safari.

I use chrome anyways, I haven't even started up IE in years.

Unplugging the keyboard/mouse and plugging them back in works.
