Random BSOD, shut down computer and can't get to users
So I was using my computer yesterday. Then, completely randomly, I got a BSOD. (I am a noob regarding this stuff so bare with me) It then said things like crash dump or dumping physical memory. Then my computer shut off.
So then I turned the computer back on, and I got the option to start up the computer normally, or to launch startup repair (recommended)
I first started windows normally. After the little windows logo animation came up, usually my computer would then go the users (where I would log in), but instead, a BSOD would flash and then my computer would restart, then going back to the option screen of start computer normally, or launch startup repair.
This time, I launched startup repair. The startup repair checked my systrem for problems, but then I got a box that said that startup repair cannot repair this computer automatically.
I then viewed advanced ways for system recovery, and hit system restore. I picked a time to restore too, but AGAIN, I got the BSOD before the user screen. So i repeated the process again, and I hit Dell DataSafe Restore and Emergency Backup this time. That process was long, and it wiped out my harddrive. Then I started up my computer, and AGAIN, even although the harddrive was wiped out, I got the BSOD after the windows logo animation screen passed.
I'm extremely frustrated and am not sure what to do. It seems like although I wiped out my harddrive, the problem is still not the fixed. The worst part is, I can't find my windows 7 operating system disc.
Help!
