BSOD playing EVE online...Now the system is acting very strange.

Ok last night i was playing eve and I got BSOD, everytime i startup now my system struggles to do the simplest tasks. and i have had several BSOD since last night.

I have had a friend come round who claimed to know what it was all about and i fear he has made things worse, I hope someone can help me.

Less than a year old, Intel core 15-2500K cpu @ 3.30GHz, sabertooth P67 motherboard, GeForce GTX 560 Ti, 2 x 2GB Muskin Coperheads, Seagate 1TB HD and a basic CD drive, Windows 7 64 Bit.

Anything else needed please ask.

I will take a look at the dmp files. If you could also do the following:
1. click start menu
2. type eventvwr into Search programs and files
3. click + next to windows logs
4. right click Application
5. click Save All Events As...
6. Save the file in a location you can find it (probably your documents folder)
7. Send to Compressed (zipped) folder
8. Upload here (if it is too big, let me know)

Edit: if it is too big, go back to Application and select the events from the big list (Information, warning, error items). Select all events from the past few days, right click, Save Selected Events... as you did the Application events.

Uninstall all toolbars from your browser. Also, update your Asus Virtual Video Capture Device Driver and your ATKDispLowFilter.

Please remove any CD/DVD virtualization software, such as Daemon Tools/Alcohol 120%, as they use a driver called sptd.sys that is known to cause BSODs. Use the sptd.sys uninstaller
I prefer TotalMounter as my CD/DVD virtualization software as it allows me to burn images to a virtual CD/DVD if I just want an ISO file instead of a disc, and it is free.
Many use MagicISO - Convert BIN to ISO, Create, Edit, Burn, Extract ISO file, ISO/BIN converter/extractor/editor as well, which is also free.

Also, could you open start menu->type perfmon /report into the Search programs and files->save the report as .html and post on here?

First, it appears that your CMOS should be reset. Go into your BIOS when your computer first turns on, load default settings, save, and exit. I would suggest also resetting the software connections between your BIOS and hardware and clearing your temporary memory. To do so, follow these steps:
1. Shut down your computer
2. Once the computer is turned off, unplug all power sources (AC Adapter then Battery)
3. Hold down the power button for 30 seconds
4. Plug power sources back in (Battery then AC Adapter)
5. Turn your computer back on
(disregard the battery statements if you are using a desktop and not a laptop).

Also, you may have some corrupted system files. Run SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker.

Use your system normally for a day, and then post back your event viewer application logs again.

If that does not resolve some of the issues I see, I will give further suggestions.

Specifically, you have errors with svchost.exe_SysMain and SearchIndexer.exe, which lead me to believe that there are either corrupted system files, or a memory module issue, or both. The above steps for resetting BIOS issues should fix any BIOS related problems, which may fix memory module issues.

You have many Asus utility errors. I would recommend uninstalling and reinstalling all Asus utilities (or just removing them if you do not use them) (if you want them, get the newest versions from their website if possible). Also, uninstall and reinstall Eve as it has quite a few errors, as well. Note any errors when installing the programs and report back to me. It appears that you may be missing some installation sets on your machine, so any errors during installation should be heeded.

I recommend removing all the offending programs first. Then, install any Asus software you want to keep. Then install Eve. Install one piece of software at a time, and note any errors, as I said.

If you have been using any tools to clean your registry, I recommend that you stop using them. Many of these errors occur due to missing registry values that may have been deleted by a registry cleaning agent.
