display driver has stopped responding and has recovered. 4th reinstall

    Last time I got that problem it was the cooler was to tight and brock the GPU I have done a RMA and get confirm by Asus and a local store it was the problem not my pc or driver it was the card

    It turned out to be a bad video card.

    I got the same errors when I pulled the card and used it in a different computer.

    Finally my headaches are gone lol.

    I'll have to remember to give more details and better instruction in the future. I sould have told you to try it in another computer, or to try your current computer with the on-board graphics only to see if you get errors. Not used to having it be a hardware error. But, very happy you were able to figure it out. Hope your new card treats you well! Come back if you have any other problems, and we would gladly try our luck with it. Cheers!

    No need to beat yourself up over it. I understand your specialty is in debugging and mostly software related. I thought about it at first to swap cards, but I never swapped the new card into another rig.

    Thanks again for everyone that helped me. I'll definitely be back if I experience any other issues.
