    BSOD Bad_Pool_Caller


    I have a Windows 7 x64. It is using the original operating system put in by the retail store. It is about a year old.

    Hi.

    You dont have any minidumps in your folders.

    To enable minidumps follow these steps Dump Files - Configure Windows to Create on BSOD

    After that we must wait for a new crash\bsod to occur,then upload the created minidumps here.

    In meantime run SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker you may need to run it 2-3 times to "fix" everything.

Recently obtained a new Acer Aspire, and have been having problems. BSOD's so often I have a chunk of my own hair in my hand. It's always Bad_Pool_Caller. I thought it might be something I installed, or an update I did.....so I restored to factory condition. Upon my first boot after the restore.......
