Thanks for the explanation - I expanded the disk drives and it just listed Hitachi HT and a bunch of numbers. Doesn't look like RAID from your description.
I've had several more BSODs this afternoon after all the fixes that were suggested.
Dumb question - could IE 9 have anything to do with it? Once I reinstalled Win 7, I upgraded to to IE 9. I can't say for sure the crashes started to happen around then, but the timing seems about right. I can't imagine that IE 9 could cause so much havoc, but nothing surprises me anymore.
