Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit

Hello! :)

I have a Packard bell pc from pcworld had it a few years. it was a pretty good spec and its still not bad!

its got an intel Core 2 Quad cpu Q8220 @ 2.33 GHZ

4 gb of ram
and a 786mb of dedicated graphics.

i upgraded it to windows 7 a few years ago and i was getting the BSOD once a month.. not an issue for me however for the last few months its been everyday i turn it on then within an hour it will bsod then after that its fine till its next switched off.

I have only decided that it needs fixing as its about to become the family pc and its to work...

i have a bluescreen reader programme installed and i have speedfan installed to keep an eye on temps.

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit

BlueScreenView often blames system files. I'm afraid that is not much to go on. To rule out a problem with system file corruption, run SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker to check system files. You may need to run it up to three times to fix all errors.
