Code 52 (Internet Adapter - Can't Get Internet!)
Hello,
After reinstalling Windows 7 my internet connection stopped working. I am using an abit AirPace Wi-Fi Adapter - it worked before the reinstalling and such. I have installed the driver and I can see it under the Hardware-thingy. However, it has a yellow warning sign next to it - a code 52? I have a feeling that if I fix that my internet will work again, can any of you please help me out? Thanks! 145px (I am happy to give more information if needed / answer any questions that might get me to a solution!). |

You are absolutely correct. A yellow triangle indicates that the driver (or device) is not functioning correctly. Without the driver you wifi cant work.
Have you tried to go to the manufacturer (abit) and getting the newest driver for your device? One note of caution make sure it is for the correct version (ie 32bit or 64bit). If there is no windows 7 driver available you can use a driver from an earlier operating system by installing it in compatibility mode. It is easy to install in compatibility mode. Simply right click the installer, then go to properties, then compatibility. Chose the OS the driver was designed for. |

I have installed this driver: Universal abit > Motherboard, Digital Speakers, iDome, AirPace, Multimedia
As you can see there are no driver for Windows 7, so I have used the one for Vista 64bit ![]() |
