    Windows explorer crashing

    Hello

The program Explorer.EXE version 6.1.7601.17567 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Action Center control panel.
    Process ID: 118
    Start Time: 01ccc875ca0734fd
    Termination Time: 0
    Application Path: C:\Windows\Explorer.EXE
    Report Id: 34351661-348f-11e1-ad2e-001fc6a5a1d7

Do you need the "details tab" to be copied?

As you can see the explorer has stopped working
I usually play battlefield 3 with very low settings and get average 25-30fps ( i know .. its low ) .. but when it drops to 10-15 i check and see explorer has stopped working . after restarting it i get a black desktop background instead of my normal wallpapers .
Any other info you need to resolve the problem ?
    Thank you.

NOTE: All drivers are up to date with the automatic update option from windows 7 ( and nvidia card drivers downloaded personally )

    Hi Frikster,

Lets see if you have some integrity issues with your system files that are causing Explorer to hang/crash on you.

    1. Click
    2. In the Search box, type cmd
    3. Right-click on cmd and then click Run as administrator
    4. When the command windows opens, type sfc /scannow and hit enter.

Report back the results of this process when its completed.

    Regards,
    Golden

    Hi,

Mmm. I'm out of ideas.....unless a Repair Install will do the trick. Try this:

    Repair Install
