Blank screen after booting if turn on computer with power button

    OS : Win 7 Ultimate SP 1

    Problem :
I can not log on windows with power button.
    So, for the detail :
    1. When i turn on my PC (use power button)
    2. It's on then go to dual boot menu then I press enter on
    windows 7
    3. Then, the normal boot appear (windows logo with "starting
    windows" text)
    4. After that, the screen goes blank, just black screen
    without cursor

my vga and ram is ok, I already use the latest driver for my
    vga card

I can start my win xp normally (my dual boot is win 7 and
    win xp)

I can start my win 7 with safe mode and low resolution

I also can start my win 7 normally after I force restart my
    PC with reset button

    Any help would be appreciate

sorry for my bad English, I'm Indonesian

Try disabling the display adapter in safe mode.

@theog : Yup, Thank you it worked for me, I disable my graphic adapter from device manager and my pc can run without restart if I want logon to my win 7, thank you for the advice. By the way, how to fix my problem, I mean I need my graphic card, then if I enable it again my pc can not logon to my win 7 without restart it (back to my primary problem).

yellowragz, please fill in your system specs following the instructions in System Info - See Your System Specs part 5. You can use parts 1-4 to gather the information to fill in the specs. This will allow us to assist you better. :) Make sure to include the vendor of your machine if you bought it pre-fabricated by a vendor (HP, SONY, LENOVO, DELL, TOSHIBA, ACER, ASUS, ETC.), and also include your model number for the machine.

If you are sure, you are downloading the right drivers, you may have a overheated display adapter, Try changing to the onboard.
