You should RMA the RAM, you might have problems getting 8GB to work on your laptop.
Any errors indicate a RAM issue, since you can't adjust any settings, you need to return it.

Have you checked for a BIOS update?
Check the change log for any RAM details.

After some more testing I found out more about the problem.
It looks like one stick of RAM has some problems with the temperature.
If I have my laptop in a room which is kept at around 20 degrees celsius, I keep getting errors. But when the laptop is in a warmer room (around 25 degrees celsius) the RAM works fine.
The RAM works on the second try in the cold room because it warms up when the laptop is on.
Also, I tested the RAM sticks individually, and I found out that only one of the two sticks of RAM has problems with the temperature. The other stick works fine even when it's cold.
I will speak to the store where I got the RAM and tell them the problem, and I will see if I can RMA it.

I don't think 8GB is too much for this laptop, since I had the option of buying 8GB from the start, and also the service manual to the laptop says it supports 8GB.

Sager sadly doesn't offer newer BIOSes, or even newer drivers. The drivers that are listed on their site are the same ones that are on the DVD I got when I bought my laptop. I get newer drivers by hunting for them from the different components manufacturers' web sites (Intel drivers from Intel, nVidia drivers from nvidia.com, realtek drivers from realtek's site, etc)

I will try to RMA the memory, and if that does not work I will try to email Sager. Maybe they have a new BIOS but they don't put it on their site and maybe they only let people who have problems download it.

    Thanks for all the help.

You're welcome, let us know the progress.

I would RMA the RAM it should work fine at 20°C, definitely faulty.

Ask Sager what 8GB RAM kits they recommend, try and get the timings and voltages.

I have RMA'd the RAM. I hope they will also get the errors and will replace it.
I will mark this thread as solved. The cause of the BSOD was memory corruption due to faulty RAM.
    Thanks for all your help.

    Hello again

I RMA'd the ram, and they tested it and found it to be faulty. They replaced it with an identical kit (the serial numbers were different, so it wasn't the same two sticks).
The memory that I got the second time showed exactly the same problem. This time, I was also able to test the memory on a different laptop, and confirmed that the memory was faulty and it wasn't a problem with the laptop.
So I RMA'd it again, and asked for a refund. They gave me the refund, and with it I bought two sticks of Kingston ValueRAM 4GB DDR3 1333MHz CL9.
The Kingston memory works fine, and it doesn't get errors when I start the laptop after it has been left off for a while.
I also ran memtest86+ on it for about one hour (I got one pass on all tests, and a second pass on tests 1-4) and no errors have been found.
Because my laptop only supports 1066 MHz on the RAM, the memory runs at 1066MHz CL7, which is ok.

Thanks again for all the help.
