BSOD: STOP error 0x0000001E (New hardware?)

Hi, according to the guidelines, I'm starting a thread here with my problems.

I keep getting this "STOP 0x0000001E" error on my computer, with no apparent cause. The closest my own troubleshooting has gotten me is to identify a missing driver, or outdated driver. However, upon checking my "Device Manager," everything appears to be up-to-date.

    My system information:
    DELL Studio XPS Laptop 1640
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)
    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T9550 @ 2.66GHz 2.67GHz

As per the "BSOD Posting Instructions," I've attached my "Systems Diagnostic Report" and the "BSOD Dump & System File Collection Report" as a single .zip file to this post. Please let me know here if any other information from me is required.

    Much thanks.

[EDIT] Whoops, my genius self has forgotten to attach the files. >>

Perfmon shows issues with your Microsoft Security Essentials software. Please do the following:
    - download a fresh copy of the Security Essentials software
    - uninstall the current software
    - install the fresh copy of the Security Essentials software

    MSINFO32 shows:
approximately 97 STOP 0x1E errors blaming the kernel (core of the OS)
    5 STOP 0x76 blaming iexplore.exe (unusual)
10 STOP 0x9F blaming USBSTOR (dump files may reveal another driver)

Only 2 dump files were in the upload (5 and 6 Jan 2012) - both were STOP 0x1E
These each blame the kernel (core of the OS) and are memory access errors (c0000005)

Right now I suspect the drivers for your Ricoh memory card reader - as they date from 2006.
Please update them from the PC Manufacturer's website immediately
    Then monitor for further BSOD's

If the BSOD's continue, please post back and we'll try Driver Verifier on all 3rd party drivers.

Thank you for your quick reply!

I've done all the fixes you noted, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling iexplore.exe since you found errors there as well.

As it is, there haven't been any more crashes, but I'll post here again if it returns.

    Thanks again.

Unfortunately, that seemed to be only a temporary fix. After a full day of no problems, I BSOD'd again. I don't think I did anything different over the last few days, so it's likely due to the original problem arising again.

As per the guidelines, I've attached the most recent Health Report and BSOD Dump & System report files as a .zip.

    Thanks again.

Still shows problems with MSSE - please try this to ensure that you're not infected:
Also, please run one of these free, independent online malware scans to ensure that your current protection hasn't been compromised: Free Online AntiMalware Resources (read the details at the link)
There are also free, bootable antivirus disks at this link: Free Online AntiMalware Resources - Bootable Disks
The Ricoh drivers are still from 2006. Try this one: Drivers and Downloads | Dell [United States] - it's from 2009

If that doesn't fix it, start with the free diagnostics here: Hardware Diags
