    Ok I tried the sfc /scannow 6 time in a row and it allways fails at 71%. I would think it would make some progress from what you told me if I rerun and then reboot but I don't see any progress.

    Can you enter the specs in the lower left corner of your post, this will make it easier for us to see what components you have without going back through the thread.

    Let's look at some of your hardware first but, when sfc /scannow fails it not only means you have Windows system file problems, it will likely need to be fixed by System restore, a Repair install or a Clean install.
    Unless you have Image Backups, if you do let us know when they are from.

    Your last dump files posted are still showing 'memory corruption.

    STOP 0x0000007F: UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP
    Usual causes: Memory corruption, Hardware (memory in particular), Overclocking failure, Installing a faulty or mismatched hardware (especially memory) or a failure after installing it, 3rd party firewall, Device drivers, SCSI/network/BIOS updates needed, Improperly seated cards, Incompatible storage devices, Overclocking, Virus scanner, Backup tool, Bad motherboard, Missing Service Pack
    Cause: Bug check 0x7F typically occurs after you install a faulty or mismatched hardware (especially memory) or if installed hardware fails.
    Code:
    *******************************************************************************
    *                                                                             *
    *                        Bugcheck Analysis                                    *
    *                                                                             *
    *******************************************************************************

    UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP (7f)
    This means a trap occurred in kernel mode, and it's a trap of a kind
    that the kernel isn't allowed to have/catch (bound trap) or that
    is always instant death (double fault). The first number in the
    bugcheck params is the number of the trap (8 = double fault, etc)
    Consult an Intel x86 family manual to learn more about what these
    traps are. Here is a *portion* of those codes:
    If kv shows a taskGate
            use .tss on the part before the colon, then kv.
    Else if kv shows a trapframe
            use .trap on that value
    Else
            .trap on the appropriate frame will show where the trap was taken
            (on x86, this will be the ebp that goes with the procedure KiTrap)
    Endif
    kb will then show the corrected stack.

    Have you had any hardware changes?

    Re-seat your RAM, take it out and inspect the socket and RAM connectors, clean the connectors with alcohol and a lint free cloth, re-install the RAM cards. Be sure they are firmly inserted.

    Check you motherboard for any sign of overheating, bulging compactors, or discoloration on any board components.

    I got the system restored but only after system crashed once. As part of boot I turned on the screen so I could see the memory test. That is when I notice that the ram was in slots 2,3,4 instead of 1,2,3. So on second time to install system I switch the ram to slots 1,2,3 and then I was able to get the system restored. (It came from HP this way after they repaired it!)
    Also after restoring system then I start using the windows update and after many updates looking through the log I notice that some of them failed. Even though the update thinks every thing is updated do I need to worry about the ones that fail or do they get updated with new stuff so the fail one is not needed?

    Only worry if they continue to fail. Sometimes they fail because they require other updates to be installed first. If they continue to fail when you try to install them after a reboot, use the Fix It for How do I reset Windows Update components?

    Good that you got system restore to work.
    The RAM installed in the wrong slots can cause instability.

    Let us know if you get any more crashes.
