    BSOD Win 7 --- Driver_IRQL_Not_Less_Or_EQUAL


    I get this error message anytime I attempt to burn a cd or dvd. I have ran MemTest86+ and let it make 10 passes, and the hard drive as well as the RAM test fine. What can I do to help further assist in diagnosing this error? Also, I just ran a full scan of malwarebytes in safe mode and it turned up no issues.

    I am running a Toshiba Satellite P755-S5320 64 bit OS and 6 GB of Ram with a 600 GB Hard Drive, if that is helpful.

    I understand how to upload an image, but how would I take a screenshot of a BSOD?

    I have whoCrashed installed, which allows me to analyze my dump files, as well as the PCHF analysis tool, which allows me to compact all of the dump data into a zip file that I can upload.

    Would either of those analysis help?

    Age of the system?? I bought it new and have had it maybe 10 weeks
    Age of the OS install -- Hard drive just crashed, new one installed less than 10 days ago

    These may be hardware related. Do the following steps.
    1. Run the boot version of Memtest86+ paying close attention to Parts 2 and 3 of the tutorial. Also, in case Memtest86+ misses anything and comes up with no errors, run the extended version of the Windows Memory Diagnostics Tool for at least five passes. These you may want to run overnight since they take a long time to complete.
    2. Run Disk Check with both boxes checked for all HDDs and with Automatically fix file system errors checked for all SSDs.

    I got rid of pcouffin and Thpevm but I can't find TVALZFL or tos_sps64? I searched for them with HWinfo32 as well as device manager?

    Also, I have run MemTest86+ for 10 passes checking the Hard Drive as well as the RAM (did this yesterday) and all checks came back fine.

    I will say this may be unrelated, but I can not boot Memtest86+ from a cd/dvd I have to boot from USB in order for my computer to recognize Memtest86+, but I can booth other programs fine from a cd?!

    They are both Toshiba drivers. Check the Toshiba support site for your model and see if there are any pertinent driver updates that you have not yet installed. Toshiba Satellite P755-S5320 Support

    I just ran the Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool and No Errors were found.

    I am checking Toshiba's website for any driver updates now.

    Alright, let me know when you have installed them and whether the system is more stable. :)

    And that is good news about the memory. That means it is more than likely clean since it already passed Memtest86+ for 10 passes.
