BSOD (Brand new pc) attempting to start fear 3

    Brand new pc
    - windows 7 ultimate x64
    - AMD Bulldozer FX-6 Six Core 6100 Black Edition 3.30GH
    - XFX Radeon HD 6850 Graphics Card
    - Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1866MHz
    - Gigabyte GA-880GM-USB3 Motherboard
    - Corsair CX600 Builder Series 600 Watt Psu
    - Samsung SpinPoint F4EG 2TB SATA II 32MB DRAM Hard Disk Drive

When i attempt to play fear 3 on steam, the fear 3 logo comes up then the pc either blue screens or just restarts itself. This is the only time i get a bsod as far as i know and my pc seems to be playing other games perfectly. so not sure what's wrong..

Hope everything you need is there.

Your .dmp file shows a stop error of 0x124 which is a general hardware error .
A "stop 0x124" is fundamentally different to many other types of bluescreens because it stems from a hardware complaint.

Stop 0x124 minidumps contain very little practical information, and it is therefore necessary to approach the problem as a case of hardware in an unknown state of distress
    Some generic advice.

If you are overclocking STOP. Return to the default settings at least for now.
If you are running a RAID update its driver.

You can read more on this error and what to try here...

Probably not a connection but it cant hurt to look unless it is under warranty.
