    BSOD ntoskrn.exe+186513 - hal.dll+12903 need help please

    Hi all,

I'm having the BSOD sometimes the computer is good for couple of weeks, sometime got crash couple of times in one day

I use BlueScreenView and see the problem is from HAL.DLL+12903 and ntoskrn.exe+186513 but I don't know how to go further.

I downloaded and installed Windbg from MS but it's saying I don't have Symbols...blah blah (which I don't understand what is symbols and where I can download them??) so I couldn't find what exactly cause the BSOD on my laptop

    Here is my lapto spec:

Model : Dell studio xps 1340
    CPU : Intel core 2 duo P9600
    Graphic card: Nvidia Geforce 9500M
Windows OS: Windows 7 Ultimate retail - fresh new installed
    System age: around 1 year

Please kindly help to debug the minidump and also show me how to install the Windbg properly if can (like how/where to download the symbols?...)

    Much appreciate your help

A link to how to set symbols (and a lot of other stuff that I do): WinDbg Analysis Report
Paragraph E contains the syntax for the symbol server address

Please provide this information for us: https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html

Your Ricoh Memory Card Reader drivers date from 2006 and MUST be updated
You have 2 drivers that end in .tmp - this is unusual and highly suspicious. The above requested info may help figure this out, but in the meantime please scan for malware using these free tests (in case your currect protection is compromised):
please run one of these free, independent online malware scans to ensure that your current protection hasn't been compromised: Free Online AntiMalware Resources (read the details at the link)
There are also free, bootable antivirus disks at this link: Free Online AntiMalware Resources - Bootable Disks
Please post back with the results and we'll move on from there.
