    Multiple, long term BSODs

    Windows 7 . . .
    - x64
    - the original installed OS on the system? Yes
    - an OEM version
    - What is the age of system (hardware)? Approx 1 1/2yrs.
    - What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) Original install. Approx 1 1/2yrs.

Am having multi BSODs nearly daily. Appreciate any help I can get. See the attached files. Thank you!

    Two issues

First. Related to ndasscsi.sys NDAS SCSI Miniport from XIMETA, Inc.

    Re-install newest driver available.

    Second

    Asacpi.sys

The pre 2009 version of this driver is a known bsod cause.
Please visit this link: Asus tek computer inc. -support- drivers and download p7p55d le

ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download P7P55D LE
ASUSTeK Computer Inc. - Motherboards- ASUS P5K-VM

Scroll down to the utilities category, then scroll down to the "atk0110 driver for windowsxp/vista/windows 7 32&64-bit" (it's about the 12th item down).

    Download and install it.

Go to c:\windows\system32\drivers to check and make sure that the asacpi.sys file is date stamped from 2009 or 2010 (notbefore).

Thanks zigzag. Both are a done deal now. BTW, the Ximeta Miniport s/w was the current version. I'm curious why you thought it wasn't? In any case, I uninstalled, dl'd a fresh copy and re-loaded it. Time to re-boot and see what happens. Thanks again.....

The driver is from 2010. I just suggested re-installing it. It is standard proceedure to install newest if avail.

    Asacpi.sys is of more importance.

    Good luck
