My system has been running well. No BSODs or other issues to speak of. Since I haven't had any issues since I made this thread, should I go ahead and mark it as solved? Thanks again for your help!

I had a similar situation with a PC I tried building a few years ago, a Core2Duo desktop with an ATI X600 video card.

After some research back then, the issue seemed to be with the video card. Even though nothing suggested ATI cards (or the Catalyst suite) should cause instability, they seemed to do a lot of that for me.

What are the basic hardware specs on your system?

    Hey aeris,
Thanks for responding. I was also thinking my problems could be due to my video card or associated drivers. I am planning on running driver verifier as recommended by writhziden.
My hardware specs are in my profile.
    Thanks again!
