BSOD's after replacing motherboard
My DFI motherboard recently failed, and with them ending their consumer product line, was unable to have it replaced. I bought instead a Gigabyte X58A-OC which I have been happy with, other than that I am getting random bluscreens. The same thing happens every time I start getting them; I get one out of nowhere after a few hours of use (usually during something system intensive like playing a game, but not always), then keep getting them frequently either on start up or within five minutes of doing anything system intensive. They have been going on since I started using the new motherboard, I've just been busy and haven't really had time to fix it when the issue appears. The bluescreen attacks have been off and on, sometimes off for multiple weeks, usually going away after I make some attempt to fix it but still always eventually comes back.
My initial thoughts was the graphics card driver, so I uninstalled and reinstalled it, which seemed to have fixed it for a time, but I still wound up getting them eventually. I then suspected the RAM, so I ran memtest86+ with all three sticks in, which returned an error within 20 minutes of running. After going through all the stick to DIMM socket possible combinations, they always wind up returning errors with all three slots full after repeated tests. I also tried pulling all the sticks out and running each individually through three passes of memtest86+, none of which returned any errors at all. I put the system back together and managed to go another few days without a bluescreen, but I just had a few and decided it's time to look for help. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
