You could also just try re-installing ESET. It may be that it is just corrupted.


For the dust, you can blow it out without opening the laptop. I have done so many times with success. Just blow into any vents in the laptop, blow into the keyboard area, usb ports, etc. Be thorough, and you should get most of the dust out without having to open the laptop up. Just make sure the computer is turned off and all power sources are removed first. Also, hold down the power button for 30 seconds once the power sources are removed to close the circuit and drain all power. Then use compressed air to blow out all vents, keyboard areas, usb ports, etc.

If those steps do not work, send the laptop in and use your warranty.

Well, when I was downloading something with Internet Download Manager, PFN List Corrupt came. It came 2 day before too.

I wonder if all parts of my laptop are faulty manufactured somehow... Geez! Different programs, SAME DAMN BSoD

Please upload the crash reports via the https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html and I will go through them very carefully this time. I will see if anything indicates software causes, and if not, I will provide a hardware suggestion.

They can't be. I used them even in low performance computers, nothing happened.

Well, BSoD started the same day that I had bought computer, after failed attempt of dividing HDD into two partitions but Windows didn't find any errors on HDD.

Have you created the recovery discs for the system? If not, do so.


If you have, do a full format of your hard disk using a Windows 7 disc. Steps 1-2 of Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 will get you the Windows 7 media.

Use the advanced drive options in step 7. of Clean Install Windows 7 to remove all partitions. Then, format your disk and exit the installation. Next, use your recovery DVDs to install the factory image again.
