Are you running with both cards or just one at this time?
I also note that you have a USB headset with outdated drivers. Either update the drivers, or replace the device. It may be causing conflicts on your system.

Hi writhziden, good to hear from you again...
I am currently running both the cards and i will now update headset drivers......
Thank you for your help As always.
Nick.
EDIT: creative auto update is telling me that drivers are up to date :S
What date does device manager give you for the device?
To open device manager:
- Click Start Menu
- Right Click My Computer/Computer
- Click Manage
- Click Device Manager from the list on the left
Alternatively:
- Login as an adminstrative user.
- Click Start Menu
- Click Control Panel
- Click Hardware and Sound
- Click Device Manager (the last link under Devices and Printers)
Find your headset by expanding the appropriate devices, probably in sound, video and game controllers, and right click the device. Click Properties. Go to the Driver tab. Driver Date: ?
Driver date is 12/03/2010
im using these drivers : Creative Worldwide Support > Fatal1ty USB Gaming Headset HS-1000
Nick.
Try removing the headset after uninstalling its drivers. See if it helps performance. I've seen USB headsets cause problems in the past with gaming.
Ok, will give it a try, so does that mean they have recently degraded in some way ?
How old is the headset?
The headset may be fine. This is just a test to see if it is causing problems. If you still have crashes with it uninstalled and unplugged, that would narrow it down to other hardware or drivers.
