Random BSOD titled PFN_LIST_CORRUPT
Hi everyone, I'm new here
I am hoping someone can shed some light on my problem.
I have been experiencing random BSOD's since October last year but they have become more frequent recently. I have attempted to diagnose and resolve the problem but without success. The list below is what I have done up to this point -
-Performed a test of the RAM using Memtest, no memory errors detected.
-Replaced the original graphics card (which was stressed by the tests and failed).
-Updated all non MS drivers and ran Driver Verifier, no driver errors detected.
-Ran chkdsk and SFC, which found a problem with Windows Update so I performed a Repair Install.
-Tested the HDD with SeaTools for Windows which failed it during the long fix all test but not the other short, SMART or SeaTools for DOS tests.
-More recently replaced the HDD and cloned the old drive, but the BSOD's reappeared.
I am now stumped as to what to do next and would appreciate any advice.
Details of my specs etc are as follows.
Current OS Windows 7 x86 (32-bit)
Original OS installed on system was Vista X86 (32-bit)
Current OS is full retail version
System is almost 5 years old
OS was installed when Windows 7 retail was first released
If any futher info is required, please let me know.
TIA
