BSOD stops at "Initializing disk for crash dump...

    Hello,

I have been experiencing a BSOD periodically, however the blue screen never gets past "Initializing disk for crash dump". As a result there are no related minidump files in the minidump folder. Any ideas on how to begin trouble shooting this? I am able to boot fine and can play games, however the BSOD is becoming more frequent lately. I notice it a lot while playing minecraft, and it happened during my first attempt to type this post.

    From other posts, I have:
checked sysdm.cpl to make sure minidumps are enabled
run memtest for 36 hours for ~15 passes
removed the applecharger driver (changed it to applecharger.old)

    Thank you

There are several reasons why DMPs arent created. They include no page file, a page file smaller than the amount of ram you have, a page file on a different HD than the os, UAC turned off.

    Hello

I have this problem aswell, I recently started experiencing BSOD, would make a thread to get help with it but I cannot seem to get a dump.

What could be the cause of not getting a dump?

UAC is turned off. But can I still get a dump? I'd rather not enable UAC.

Thank you very much for your replies & help.
I hope this isn't gravedigging, saw it better to revive old thread rather than make new with same topic.
