Well here's a big fat clue.

Looks like there are hordes of people having issues with newer drivers, especially on the 560ti. It's an exact match for the TDR (timeout, detection, recovery) I got first time around. Others are experiencing freezes, crashes and all manor of weird behavior when viewing videos and flash on web sites with these drivers, it's apparently a real epidemic. A BSOD is probably not out of the question either if the drivers are crashing right and left.

I think I'll run a clean reinstall of the beta drivers they're offering to fix the TDR issues. Maybe they'll work for me. Fingers crossed!

Good luck! Look forward to hearing back what your results are.

What were the results of the beta drivers?

So far so good! No blue-screens or driver crashes at all since upgrading. Though I havn't been playing BF3 all that much, in the case that it was the game that was destabilizing my drivers. But browsing the internet and playing any other game seems smooth as butter now.

Great to hear. Best wishes it remains stable!

How is the system currently responding?
