You're welcome to do what is suggested in that link. It will cost you more than a new hard drive from what I see, but it is your money. IMO, it is not worth it, but as I said, it is your money.
    Attachment 199883
    Attachment 199884

$148.95 would get you a new 1.5 TB drive.

Yeah, I think those programs would be great if you had a failure and needed to do data recovery, but for your purposes, they would not provide what you are looking for.

From the info on post #25, you need to replace your CMOS battery. It's showing a voltage of 1.68.
It should be 3v, anything below 2.5v is going to give you problems.

Agree with writhziden, any program that says it can fix hardware or add RAM is not genuine or everybody would be doing it.
Save your $60 and put it towards a hard drive.

Data Lifeguard Tools 11 and 10 Error Codes
    Error Code: 0001 - 0008, 0015 SMART Error
Self Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology (SMART) Error returned during SMART Status/Self Test Command.
The drive is defective. Replace Drive
You can use the drive if you choose to, just keep any data you don't want to loose on your external hard drive.
Sometimes a hard drive will fail slowly and sometimes they will just stop completely and you won't be able to get anything off of it.
    It's your choice.
I recommend to replace it as soon as possible.

You definitely have a hard disk problem. It just may also be the case that the CMOS battery is an issue.
