    My probleme is the following:
    - Random BSoD
    - While on firefox (++ when youtube video is included or annimation)
    - When playing WoW (++ when multiboxing)
    - Random Freeze (can't move mouse / soft reboot wont work)
    - Windows load up and freeze just before User/PWD window
    - While windows' running : Didn't happen (yet) since last install (few hours ago)

"It's not a true crash, in the sense that the bluescreen was initiated only because the combination of video driver and video hardware was being unresponsive, and not because of any synchronous processing exception".

Since Vista, the "Timeout Detection and Recovery" (TDR) components of the OS video subsystem have been capable of doing some truly impressive things to try to recover from issues which would have caused earlier OSs like XP to crash.

As a last resort, the TDR subsystem sends the video driver a "please restart yourself now!" command and waits a few seconds.

If there's no response, the OS concludes that the video driver/hardware combo has truly collapsed in a heap, and it fires off that stop 0x116 BSOD.

If playing with video driver versions hasn't helped, make sure the box is not overheating.

Try removing a side panel and aiming a big mains fan straight at the motherboard and GPU.

Run it like that for a few hours or days - long enough to ascertain whether cooler temperatures make a difference.

If so, it might be as simple as dust buildup and subsequently inadequate cooling.

I would download cpu-z and gpu-z (both free) and keep an eye on the video temps Let us know if you need help

    zigzag3143, Thanks for the reply.

It actualy led me somewhere, or atleast i'm heading in one direction now. From what I understand from that errors...

    - Its something that make my videos cards not responding for a short while therefor causing a reboot to make the card respond again. (to keep it simple)

    What i've done
    - Memtest86+ runned w/o errors
    - furmark runned w/o crashing my display
    What I'll be trying
1- Downgrading my memory clock to 1333Mhz from BIOS.
    2- Disabling crossfire X
3- Running with only 1 card at a time
4- trying my 5870 from my other pc

What i'm pretty sure it's NOT
1- Overheating (Quite impossible as temp went way much higher with benchmark)
2- Dusk as its brand-new and not overheating

    May need advise
1- Does memory clock can cause TDR ?
2- Does bad memory voltage can cause TDR ?**

    More information
1- Le Crash happen more often when there's a display change. Ie: Youtube going fullscreen, Win 7 fading for the Administrator right, furmark caused BSoD when going fullscreen the first time i've run it, then it went fine.

** I'm asking because when i first got the MB after them ajusting the bios. I had to do a bios flash for booting probleme (yeah already). Yet i can see in their note that they ajusted memory voltage by +-0.05.

    edit:
    https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...-atikmpag.html
= exact same probleme as i'm having *reading further more into it*

    edit 2:
went thru it all, i'll do several test that has been done there, seems like it was a 32 bits/64bits issue, i'll check firefox and make sure i've loaded the 64bit version.

    edit 3:
Checked around, multibox was under x86, same for firefox. As i'm using chrome i've been on youtube and lots of flash website users and no problem at all. tried with firefox and got BSoD'd in no more then 10 minutes.

Looks like my new system build gonna have hard time supporting 32bits. I'll keep you updated.
