    Notebook crashes while on battery

While using my notebook on battery it crashes. There is no BSOD and I need to plug in to AC and turn back on.

When I turn it back on the battery level can sometimes be at 41%. It does not give a warning or noise just switches off.

I have tried to follow some of the previous posting instructions but not been able to work out the problem. The battery check says 100% and I have used compressed air to blow out the vents.

The notebook is 18 months old, I have extended warranty but if it is the battery I assume it wont be covered.

    Welcome to Seven Forums palmygav.

Does sound like a bad battery.
Have you made sure the interior battery connector is clean and not blocked?
Do you know someone that you can borrow a battery from for testing?
If not, then you can either take or send it for testing, or replace the battery.

    Other issues.
Go to your laptop support page and load the bluetooth driver, appears that there isn't one.
