I really do appreciate ALL your time & help in trying to get my computer back up and running! At this point, seems it may be best to go ahead and send it in... although I hate to do that... I need it back up & running! Thanks again!! I sincerely appreciate it! And yes, I found out I have 10 days left of my warranty! ;-)
Thats no virus.
That means there is something seriously wrong with your computer.
I kept getting the same thing on a VM when I deleted system32 on it.
Now, you can't boot into a CD, eh?
Do you see a BIOS screen when booting up your computer?
If so, press the special key to go into setup and check to see if the boot order is set to CD-ROM drive first.
If it is not, follow the instructions on your BIOS setup to change it.
Save the settings, and your disc should now boot.
If you don't see a BIOS screen, then there is something seriously wrong with your computer, and you will need to either:
Get it repaired
Or get a new one
If you get a new one you can buy cheap SATA to USB or IDE to USB adapters from EBay, then pull apart the other computer, take out the HDD, put it on the adapter and pull off all the files using another computer.
Hope this helps.
