Logon Screen is blank most of the time

    It's been present for like 2 weeks now. No, like suggested in one of the SSD optimization guides I disabled that option.

    Ah, I see. Given all the steps that have already been attempted to no avail, the only one left is a Repair Install since you do not want to do a clean install at this point.



    Did you attempt the repair install?

    No, not yet. I've been off to France for almost 2 weeks and now I'm quite busy, so the problem remains unsolved. I just keep putting it on sleep mode instead of shutting down. :\
