60+ posts back... reset all voltages to default. The problem likely lies elsewhere.

That's quite simple.

He never mentioned his temps.

Previous posters have pointed him in this direction.

I honestly don't know why you would feel discredited, because I suggested nothing of the sort in your, or anybody's direction.

There was one poster that said 95-97 degrees was normal, and I thought I had to correct that view.
I type a little slower than you I guess, so my post was right after yours, and definitely not a reaction to anything you said.

If you read back all the way to the start of this thread, you'll find I've been trying to help the OP from the beginning, and not jumping on any band wagon.

We have to work with the information an OP provides, and go from there.
Our insight increases and changes with each post.

Turn your machine off. At a minimum, properly reapply new thermal paste.

Well I sure never told you to push up any voltages and like I said before the default voltage for the CPU are fine for now. I don't know who told you to overclock or raise the CPU voltage but it sure wasn't me.

In any event your temps are way too high for a stock system, in fact they are too high for any system stock or overclocked. Yes temps that high will cause your system to freeze up or shut down.

Don't bother running Prime if your CPU is running at 100C. You can damage your CPU easily at those temps.

I believe we both saw that and were typing at the same time. It sure stood out to me as a problem.

Anyway I believe that the Op has all the help he needs so I shall bow out and let the experts handle it.

Keep your chins up ZigZag and upright walking cat rodent thing...

The OP is largely responsible for the meandering deviations in this thread.

It is reasonable to conclude that excess heat is the cause of the OP problem. Let's reset.

Windew420 - you are having a problem that may very jeopardize your investment.

At some point in this thread, you had a stable system with default BIOS settings. Do you have temp readings for those conditions. DO NOT RUN PRIME95.
