    Random BSOD, error 0x8000000000000002

    Hello Seven forum

I have been getting random BSOD for a while now, error 0x8000000000000002

OS: Windows 7 64bit Home Premium (upgrade from vista)
Hardware Age: about 1 year old
OS Age: Fresh, about a week old but have had the problem with previous installations

It seems to be random, the closest i can think of is if some sort of media is on, like music or streaming from you tube. This isn't the case for all crashes though

    Attaching dump files

I hope that someone here can help me out, thank you in advance

    Hi.

You dont have any crash\bsod minidumps files in your folder.

Follow these steps to enable minidumps.

Dump Files - Configure Windows to Create on BSOD

After this we have to wait for a new crash\bsod,then reupload the files.

Dont use any "cleaners" like ccleaner or disk clean up because by doing this you also clean\delete the minidumps.

In meantime, remove norton from your system for testing purposes.

For your system security you can use this Good and Free system security combination.

    Finish and post back.

Thank you for the reply, will collect more info next time

Of course it has not happened since i made this thread, before that it was 1-2 times a day.

What type of memory dump do i need to create, complete, kernel or small? (current setting was to make a Kernel memory dump)
