BSOD/Restart after Windows Logo
Hi all! I really need help, everytime I try to install a Windows 7, it restarts or BSOD after the Windows 7 logo.
Here's what happened. I'm gonna tell you how it started.
I was just watching a video and suddenly my speaker started a crashing noises, so I removed the cable and tried reconnecting the cable, but it doesn't sound anymore. So I decided to restart my PC, then after select Windows 7 (I have 2 OS, Vista and Windows 7), it says:
"Windows Failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause", when I start windows, it restart or BSOD after the logo. I tried entering in Safe Mode but it still stops on a certain file, can't remember it now since I have deleted my OS.
So I also tried booting with my Windows Vista, still can't start it, I tried booting using Last Known Good Configuration but still same result,
here's where it stops when I tried to boot Safe Mode using Vista: crcdisk.sys
I am pretty sure that I didn't add any hardware on my PC.
So here's all the troubleshooting I tried to do:
1. I tried to boot on the Windows 7 Installer to repair the OS, but it restarted after Win7 Logo
2. I tried booting my Harddisk on a different PC, when selecting OS, it still shows Windows Failed to Start", I tried to install a fresh Windows 7, surprisingly, it passed the Windows 7 Logo and it even finished the whole installation, I can successfully open this new installation without any problem (be noted that this is on another PC)
3. Then I tried to put back my harddisk on my new PC, sadly, when selecting the newly installed OS, it shows "Windows Failed to Start" and breaks my heart.
4. Then I tried installing Windows XP, I can successfully partition the harddrive, but the setup restarts/hangs on when its on the process of Installing Devices (35 minutes remaining)
5.. Then I tried to delete all OS, there's this 1 time after deleting all the partitions that I reached the Select Language window, after that same result
6. I tried resetting the MOBO but still same result
I tried to note all the BSOD messages but it gives different messages everytime.
I am pretty sure that there are no hardware changes, here are the specs:
Gigabyte a55m-s2v
Kingston Hyper-X Genesis 4GB DDR3
AMD A6 3650 2.6 GHz, 4mb total cache
250gb SATA Seagate
These are all bought last december only (xmas gift for myself) except the harddisk so it still have warranties, but I still want to try to fix this because I don't have enough time to bring to the shop where I bought it.
That's all, I apologize for my poor grammar. Any assistance would be gladly appreciated. Thank you very much!
PS.
I know that you'll ask me to check the RAM, unfortunately, I haven't found any friend that has a DD3 MOBO. I tried Memory Diagnostics and it finished 100% and shows no error message (not sure if this is how it works)
