    BSOD after waking up from sleep hp dv7 1245dx


    hello new to the site. having issues as of yesterday. here are the details produced by windows after reboot. i also zipped up the dump and xml file, if anyone can take a look before i go nuts. really don't want to wipe and reinstall os

    Please remove any CD visualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%.

    They use a driver, found in your dmp, called sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs.

    when you're done you can use this Freeware:

    MagicISO Virtual CD/DVD-ROM (MagicDisc) in its place
