    Asus EE Netbook Start-up Problem

I have recently encountered a problem with my Asus EE Netbook, I am running windows 7 starter.

A couple of days ago whilst browsing the internet my system froze, the screen flashed blue and then the netbook turned off.

When restarted it comes up with the options of Starting windows normally or launching start up repair so i launch start-up repair. This cannot solve any problems so i then go to the menu showing other system repair options, (system restore, system image recovery etc) However when i click on any of the options they fail fix the problem (No system restore points found etc) .

I do have a :E drive named Backup installed by the guy who fixed it first time round, but i have no idea how to use this

    Any ideas?

All this comes after the hard-drive was replaced a couple of weeks ago after it failed.

    Thanks in advance

You will need a Windows 7 repair disc or you can use the Advanced Boot Options to get to the System Recovery Options.

Then try the steps in Startup Repair Infinite Loop Recovery. Note the warning:

       Warning
The instructions presented withing this tutorial must be followed correctly, or you can damage your Windows 7 installation even further. This tutorial is designed to help recover from a bad registry that is causing the startup repair loop. You should note that there may still be some issues remaining that cannot be fixed by manually restoring the registry.
