BSOD randomly, sometimes while playing games, sometimes just idle.

Well peerblock did it just once. Usually other times its that dxgkrnl.sys+5d000 the cause or w/e of the bsod. Or usually something that has to do with dxgkrnl.sys, i posted 4 different bsod up there in the first post :/ dunno this is just so fked up. I ****ing hate drivers and Microsoft at this point lol.

Ok so update- what happens most often is not actually a blue screen- the screen just goes black, no blue screen. And I don't mean where it pops up for few seconds and then shuts down- I have the "auto restart" disabled. No, it just goes blank as if u turned off the power, but no fans stop, vid card fan doesn't seem to stop or anything. My monitor just goes black and flickers between "hdmi" "analog" diplays until windows start loading again. WTF? Is this still considered BSOD of something else?

Looks promising. The black screen crash sounds like a graphics/display issue. Make sure your display adapter drivers are up to date and not corrupted.

Re-install or install the latest drivers for your display card. Your current drivers may be corrupt and/or outdated. Use the following method to re-install the drivers.

    1. Download the latest drivers for your display card(s)
    2. Click Start Menu
    3. Right Click My Computer/Computer
    4. Click Manage
    5. Click Device Manager from the list on the left
    6. Expand Display adapters
    7. Do the following for each adapter (in case you have multiple display cards)
      • Right click the adapter
      • Click Uninstall (do not click OK in the dialog box that pops up after hitting Uninstall)
      • Put a tick in Delete driver software for this device (if this option is available, otherwise just hit OK) and hit OK
    8. Restart your computer after uninstalling drivers for all display cards
    9. Install the latest driver for the display cards once Windows starts

    Alternatively:
    1. Login as an adminstrative user
    2. Download the latest drivers for your display card(s)
    3. Click Start Menu
    4. Click Control Panel
    5. Click Hardware and Sound
    6. Click Device Manager (the last link under Devices and Printers)
    7. Expand Display adapters
    9. Restart your computer after uninstalling drivers for all display cards
    10. Install the latest driver for the display cards once Windows starts

I had to manually disable the automatic driver installation by windows, because each time I'd restart it'd install some shit drivers and 5 mins later I get a pop up "new drivers available" which I have already downloaded... So going to try to restart and instal manually now. **** I hate windows.

Just did complete driver install, still same thing. It just randomly makes the screen go black and monitor starts switching between analog/hdmi etc, but the computer isn't restarted, if I don't manually press the reset button- it'll just keep blinking black screen between analog/hdmi displays... I'm clueless to wtf is going on. There's no blue screen, there's no error in the event log...

The Peer Networking Grouping service depends on the Peer Name Resolution Protocol service which failed to start because of the following error:
    %%-2140987231

Ok so I couldn't even leave my homegroup, and after hours of searching through google, found this:
Ok, deleting the "C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Roaming\PeerNetworking\idstore.sst" file worked to get me past error 1068, but then I was getting error 1079.
To fix the 1079 error, go back into the Peer Name Resolution Protocol service properties, select 'Log On' and then select 'This account' then use 'Local Service'. Your computer's administrator account password is the password for Local Service.
I finally have HomeGroup again after months of troubleshooting. Thanks!

so now I did finally leave homegroup, my files in my Roaming folder got recreated, lets see if the restarts keep coming...

I've tried everything I could possible think of from vista days, and everything I found on google so far,. If I leave my pc idle with nothing running- go take a shower- I come back to a black screen and am forced to hard restart the pc.

If I launch Battlefield 3, during the loading 90% of the time the screen goes black and it feels like the PC restarted but its not restarting or showing me BSOD. Weirdest thing- after restarting the PC, in the events manager, I'm not getting any errors! There's not a single error, everything is now working correctly (after I fixed the peer networking shit).

Any ideas?... Anything at all, some strange suggestion. Even if its 1 out of 1000 chance it could be something- let me know, cuz I'm clueless.

    i7 920, gts 470, 6gb of corsair 1600 ram. 1000watt corsair psu, x58 3sli mobo, WB black HHDs,.

Currently I'm doing memtest on ram (again) even tho I did complete passes couple months ago and it checked out fine. So any suggestions would help bunches.
