    Corupted RAM stick BSOD

Hi i have a corrupted stick of RAM that keeps causing different BSOD all related to memory and drivers not booting when i restart or just failing after a few. i was wondering if removing the corrupted one would be safe to do while i wait for my new ones to get in.

    Setup:
    Windows 7
    2 x 2GB memory
    560 ti
    GIGABYTE GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68
    i5-2500k

Yes, as long as there is at least one working stick the PC should post just fine. Windows might slow down a little until you bump the RAM back up again, but other than that it shouldn't be a big deal.

Yep, you should be fine until you get a replacement. One point - did you try the stick in the other memory slots?

Try to remove one stick and run memtest then try to change slots on motherboard.
    Repeat same with other stick.
when you remove/add RAM sticks power off pc and unplug it, be careful about static, ground your self and dont touch the contacts of a stick.
