random BSOD's; 'system service exception' and 'memory management'

I'm being plagued by BlueScreen errors; Memory_Management and System_Service_Exception are the named ones that stick out in my mind but I'm sure there have been others. I suspect that some program files are corrupt but I'm not gonna pretend that I know anything about computers so I thought it best to ask you guys. Next time it happens I'll write down all the error codes that appear, which should give you a better idea.

Info that appeared running the forum's 'system spec' program; if you need any other info please also tell me (in layman's terms) how I can find it!

    Hi.

    Remove Symantec/Norton from your system.

Download and install Microsoft Security Essentials with windows firewall enable.

You can also use this Good and Free system security combination.

    Finish
    and post back.

I've uninstalled Norton Internet Security and replaced it with MSE; what exactly was causing the issue, then?

Thank you for the quick reply, by the way!
