    A last update. I narrowed down the bsod to Comodo Internet Security 5.9. For some reason it corrupts TCP/IP Registry Compatibility Driver after installation then the bsod occurs consistently from then on. The rest of the security software I use caused no such problem.

    Been a few months but I thought I would update thread anyways. :) "Microsoft has announced a hotfix for stability (system lockup) issues in Windows Filtering Platform implemented in Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 2008 Server and Windows 2008 Server R2: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2664888/en-us" This hotfix & Comodo Firewall 5.10 update solved all my problems with the BSOD.
