BSOD - bad CPU?
I need some advise before any more money is sunk into this.
I have been experiencing the BSOD for several months now. Until this time I have never had a problem with this computer in its original configuration. The BSOD comes usually when playing video through FLV, Windows Media Player, or when playing a game such as Supreme Commander.
My current configuration:
Windows 7 Premium, 64bit (last install was approximately 2 weeks ago)
Intel Core 2 Quad, Q8200 2.33ghz
8gb (2X4gb) G-Skill DDR3 1333 memory
MSI G41M-P26 w/latest bios
Palit Geforce GTX 460 video card
I have done the following to resolve the issue but each time the BSOD still surfaced:
1) Reformated computer with Windows 7 Professional 64bit
2) Purchased/installed new memory
3) Purchased/installed new motherboard
4) Swapped out video card with known good card
5) Reformated computer again because i was bored
6) Uninstalled Norton 360, purchased and installed Kaspersky
7) Yanked out wireless adapter, routed 75 foot of RJ6 in attic to be better connected - did this because i was seeing ALOT of corrupt packets using wireless
8) Used MS verifier to verifier all non MS drivers - no issues found
9) Ran memtest on new memory - no issues found
10) Complete checkdsk on boot drive - no issues found
I have run out of ideas and feel the problem lies within the CPU. I mean, after a new mobo, swapping out the video with a known good card, thurough memtest and boot drive checks, and fresh OS installs i have pretty much eliminated everything else, wouldnt you think?
I have attached DMP files, system health report, CPU-Z and RAMMon screenshots.
What do ya think?
