BSOD Watching youtube videos and playing dota 2

I think the error message was 0x00000(can't remember how many 0's)5e

    Details:
    It is a laptop
It is an Acer Aspire 5551G
Windows 7 64-bit (Came pre-installed with my laptop)
It's a little over 2 and a half years old
I have had problems before with bluescreens due to a defect motherboard.
I installed a new screen for my laptop today after my old one broke.

    Here's the dump (hehehe)

    1. Avast can be a contributing cause of BSOD'S .
Please remove and replace with Microsoft Security Essentials AT LEAST TO TEST

    http://files.avast.com/files/eng/aswclear5.exe

Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows

    2. Would suggest you remove your AODDriver2.sys, Asus Overdrive for testing purposes.

    3. Please remove any CD visualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%.

They use a driver, found in your DMP, called sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs.

Use this SPTD uninstaller DuplexSecure - Downloads DuplexSecure - FAQ

When finished you can use this Freeware:

MagicISO Virtual CD/DVD-ROM (MagicDisc) in its place

Using MagicISO to create ISO image files

    Thank you for the reply!
I will change my antivirus (wasn't a fan of avast anyway) and working on removing daemon tools and alcohol 120%.
Just wondering how I am to remove the AODDriver2.sys and if AVG is a good enough antivirus.

We would prefer you use Microsoft Security Essentials for testing purposes.
AVG can be implicated in BSOD's.

Simply rename AODDriver2.sys to AODDriver2.bak so it cant boot. RE: AVG it is a personal choice. It BSOD's less than most.
