    Odd. I wonder if something was not connected properly originally and was resulting in the crashes. Let us know how things go this weekend, as you said.

    Just fyi: I had a NB Fan plugged into a CPU power junction and vice versa. My motherboard kept insisting the CPU fan was not spinning fast enough and thought the CPU was overheating (even though it was not). Weird things like this can cause computers to malfunction.

    Well after testing it for a week I've had no problems with BF3 or out of it. Everything seems to be running fine now.
