Random BSOD : ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x7CC40) Driver Power State Failure

    Hi

XPS L502x : 2nd generation Intel Core i7-2720QM processor 2.20 GHz with Turbo Boost
    2.0 up to 3.30 GH
    8Gb Ram
    Windows 7 64 bit

Have been having repeated BSODs lately. Used to get them about once or twice a week but its now a few times a day that it happens.

Have attached the zip file made by the download from this site and will paste the WhoCrashed Report below.

I have tried numerous fixes and nothing has worked...getting desperate.

    Thanks in advance guys

These were Related to Mbm3DevMt.sys F3607gw Mobile Broadband Device Management Driver from MCCI Corporation.

I would re-install the newest driver available.

The same is true for wwanussf.sys F3607gw Mobile Broadband Module from Ericsson AB

    Why 2 Broadband drivers?

Sorry but this didn't turn out to be as easy as i thought it would. Can't find where these drivers are...they don't seem to be for any of the devices in device manager. Any chance you could tell me how to update them?

The 2 broadband drivers you get from the mfr, the below for the rest.

    How To Find Drivers:
    - search Google for the name of the driver
    - compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
    - visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
    - if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
    - - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference Driver Reference
    - - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: Drivers and Downloads

I have a dell laptop and the mobile broadband software seems to be from dell...i guess using the drivers from MCCI and Ericsson. So if i just uninstall the mobile broadband software, since i never use it, would that solve the problem?

    Thanks again

It would help. Dell is famous for their bloatware (I have one)
