Constant BSOD

First post here.

I went over two years without a single BSOD and suddenly I'm getting it several times each day. Recently, I get a BSOD four or five times in a row on boot-up before I can get to my desktop. Here's my minidump; if anyone can help, I'll be greatly thankful.

Asacpi.sys

The pre 2009 version of this driver is a known BSOD cause
Yours is dated 2005.

Scroll down to the utilities category, then scroll down to the "atk0110 driver for windowsxp/vista/windows 7 32&64-bit" (it's about the 12th item down).

Download and install it.

Go to c:\windows\system32\drivers to check and make sure that the asacpi.sys file is date stamped from 2009 or 2010 (not before).

Everything went well until about twenty minutes ago. I got a BSOD while watching a movie on Netflix, and then several more while trying to boot up. Any other suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Your ASACPI.SYS is still dated 2005. Do you need help in removing it?

Very weird: I checked last night and both files listed creation dates of 2009. I've reinstalled it and it's showing Asacpi.sys created 05/14/2009 in C:\Windows\System32\drivers. I'll update if anything else happens; thank you for noticing and replying.

Sometimes there can be two versions on a system and if you run a system file check one is replaced with the other. DO a search for asacpi.sys across the entire C drive

I've got a 2005-dated file in C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\atk2000.inf_amd64_neutral_a91abe245a6c41c8. No matter what I try to do with security permissions, I can't put the new files in this folder. Is this possibly the source of my issue?
