BSOD need help debugging, perhaps firefox issue

computer seemed to randomly freeze, i thought it was overheating so i cleaned it out, but no avail, turned on my dumps to see what was going on, but then it wouldnt bluescreen, it would just freeze, and would hear some annoying sound from speakers.

finnaly got a dump (first time happy to see bsod) and i tried using whocrashed to see what was going on but didnt find too many good results with google, everyone has a diff issue. today i tried windows debugging software, but it may be a lil too complicated for me, would appreciate if someone can take a look.

i do recall installing so crap addon or something on firefox prior to the freezing, so i uninstalled firefox completely and restored only what i knew was good, and still have the issue.

any and all help greatly appreciated.

Your crash points to firefox as the cause.

Do the following steps and run the system through your normal routine for a while after each to see if the problem is resolved.

thank you so much for your reply and the awesome info.

i ran the driver scanner program and installed any drivers it found, i manually installed others i was able to find. i uninstalled elaborate bytes (slysoft) virtual clone drive. i also ran the avg removers both 86 and 64 because i don't ever remember installing avg on this computer, the 86 version didnt seem to do anything 64 bit did something and wrote a log which i will attach but i dont think it did anything, as i said i dont remember installing avg, for a while i did use ms essentials and the last one i installed is kingsoft's PC Doctor.

i stopped using firefox today, but pc still crashed, i have a large rar package i wanted to extract today and the few times i tried i managed to crash the system each time, even after performing the items i listed above. i will attach the other dump files i have as well.

    i truly appreciate your help.

Caused by SiWinAcc.sys which is still out of date... What product is this associated with by Silicon Image?

And yes, I see that AVG was not installed. AVG uses a driver that has the same name as a driver used by another piece of hardware. My mistake. It is difficult to pick out what antivirus people have without the full crash reports. We have to sift through the hundreds of drivers listed in the .dmp files. That is why the blue screen instructions were created.

i now have removed clonecd the only other thing from elby i could think of.

i couldnt find updated drivers for the other ones.

i think the silicon driver is for my sil3132 pcie 1x to double sata card, i visited the site from here Driver Reference Table - SiWinAcc.sys and downloaded and updated the driver.

Is that card necessary? If not, I would suggest removing it at least for testing purposes. If so, see if you can replace it with something more current.

that went quicker than i thought, removed the pcie card, and unplugged the hard drive, tried to extract the large file and crashed. placed it back it and reconnected the hdd and will try again, maybe i need a fresh win7 install? this has been the hardest problem ive had to figure out using my pc, its been soo stable prior.

If you don't mind doing a clean install, it is a viable option. Backup any important data prior to doing so.
