Recovery completed, restore files bug after multiple bsod & reinstall

Ok so one day, i rebooted my pc, i have windows 7 hp x64, when i booted it up, it worked fine for a few minutes then gave me a bsod. errors were: 0xFFFFFFFFC0000096 and 0xFFFFF80003512B5A

this happened several times, ( i did it on the same day). so i tried safe mode, and it looked like a mix between win7 and 95, and i backed up lots of my programs and stuff to an external hard drive. then when i re bootted the pc again, it worked fine in regular mode, and and this pop up box said, recovery completed...etc, and it asks restore files, and cancel. i clicked restore, or cancel and it still bsod after 2 minutes, it would not bsod if i didn't touch the thing. i did a re install of windows, and then, my screen in regular mode was screwed up, like squashed from 2 sides, and pixelized a bit. i tried everything and then it sort of fixed itself. but the recovery thing keeps poping up. good that their is no bsod. its just annoying.
