Bunch of different BSOD's is my HDD dying ?
Hello i have a problem with laptop , i started getting different typed of BSOD's it got to the point that my PC wouldn't stay stable beyond 5 minutes and very often crash while booting.
Tried booting in Safe Mode but this didn't help, only Safe Mode with Networking seemed to keep my PC stable for a bit longer (30 min) but the end result was always some BSOD.
I tried to install Registry cleaning programs but i couldn't , in fact i couldn't install anything i would get a red stop error everytime.
Unfortunatlly i don't remember the error types when trying to install programs but i do remember some of BSOD's i was geting.
Bad Pool Header
000003b System Service Exception
NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM
Page fault in nonpaged
Finally i removed te HDD and connected it to my desktop , I've run chadsk to fix errors and surface scan with HD Tune (long one not quick) which didn't detect any bead sectors also in the health tab i git a green OK.
I thought ill just make a backup of my personal files and use restore to bring my laptop to the factory settings again.
Sadly to my surprise when i started restore shortly after formatting the windows partition i got another BSOD !!
Kernel Data in Page error
I've run BIOS Hard drive slf test , both short and long and it says its Passed HDD OK which is even more confusing.
I've also run BIOS Memory test which came back as Memory OK.
Im kinda stumped here anybody have any idea what's going on ?
Obviously i can't attach any dump files cause windows partition was formatted but do those BSOD indicate a HDD fault ?
What should i do ?
P.S The laptop has only 3 months and it's running Windows 7 Home Premium x64 which came with it.
Laptop is HP Pavilion g Series
Dual-core Intel Pentium B960 processor
4 GB RAM
750GB HDD
