Gave in and bought the recovery disk . . . and again, during the process of recovering my computer, BSOD .
It has got to be the hard drive . . . Sure enough, took the internal HD out and put it in another laptop . . .
Received a "Win failed to start error 0x000000f" just like it said on my original laptop .
I think it's safe to say this problem is "solved" for now . The new problem is figuring out how to replace my HD lol .
