64 bit app stalls/freezes, dump file added

App takes a long time to load and generally runs slow when in use. As far as I know it was designed for Vista 64 bit. BTW the cmd "cscript adplus.vbs -crash -nodumponfirst -minionsecond -quiet -pn dpeg.exe" needed to be changed to "cscript adplus_old.vbs -crash -nodumponfirst -minionsecond -quiet -pn dpeg.exe". I hope this info is enough.

It may be helpful to get the actual Event Viewer logs.

Please provide us with your Event Viewer administrative logs by following these steps:
    1. Click Start Menu
    2. Type eventvwr into Search programs and files (do not hit enter)
    3. Right click eventvwr.exe and click Run as administrator
    4. Expand Custom Views
    5. Click Administrative Events
    6. Right click Administrative Events
    7. Save all Events in Custom View As...
    8. Save them in a folder where you will remember which folder and save as Errors.evtx
    9. Go to where you saved Errors.evtx
    10. Right click Errors.evtx -> send to -> compressed (zipped) folder
    11. Upload the .zip file here.

Start by removing avast! with the avast! uninstall utility and replace with either or the .
    Code:
The avast! Antivirus service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 5000 milliseconds: Restart the service.
Spybot is also causing hangs on your system.

    Code:
A timeout was reached (30000 milliseconds) while waiting for the SBSD Security Center Service service to connect.

    Re-install MSSQL:
    Code:
A timeout (30000 milliseconds) was reached while waiting for a transaction response from the MSSQLServerOLAPService service.

Well I've used Avast for years and feel very comfortable with it. I don't think I'll be uninstalling it despite the hangup it causes. I will uninstall Spybot since it's rarely used. As far as MSSQL is concerned I don't mind re-installing it although installing it in the first place was a pain. Is there way to re-install it in an easier way. I will also install WOT. Thanks.

Unfortunately, installing MSSQL can be a bit cumbersome and there is no simpler method I know of to install it. If anyone else knows a better way to re-install MSSQL, I'd be glad to find out. Let us know if you find one as well, Han. :)
